The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on May 29, 2025, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The following IS have been established on May 22, 2025 namely: -

• IS 9337 (Part 3) : 2025 Textiles — Bobbins and Pirns — Specification Part 3 Plastic Flyer Bobbins (First Revision)

• IS 12768 : 2025 Thiobencarb, Technical — Specification (First Revision)

• IS 13030 : 2025 Laboratory Determination of Water Content, Porosity, Density and Related Properties of Rock Material — Method of Test (First Revision)

• IS 13414 : 2025 Monitoring of Rock Movements Using Multi-Point Borehole Extensometers — Guidelines (First Revision)

The following IS has been withdrawn on November 22, 2025 namely: -

• IS 9337 (Part 3) : 1992 Textile Machinery and Accessories — Bobbins and Pirns — Specification Part 3 Plastic Flyer Bobbins

• IS 12768 : 1989 Pesticides — Thiobencarb, Technical — Specification

• IS 13030 : 1991 Method of Test for Laboratory Determination of Water Content, Porosity, Density and Related Properties of Rock Material

• IS 13414 : 1992 Monitoring of Rock Movements Using Multi-Point Borehole Extensometers — Guidelines
